IN MEMORIAM

 Dr. Evelyn Carol Voelker, dedicated her life to furthering
knowledge of art and architecture and was an Alumni Distinguished
Professor of Art and Architectural History at Clemson University,
Clemson, South Carolina.

Dr. Evelyn Carol Voelker’s 1977 English translation of
Charles Borromeo’s Instructiones fabricate et supellectilis
ecclesiasticae, 1577, Book I, a translation with commentary
and analysis was produced on microfilm-xerography in 1981.
In 1982 Dr. Voelker began her translation on BOOK II.

 Evelyn Carol Voelker died December 6, 2008. Her translation of
Charles Borromeo’s Instructions fabricate et suppellectilil
ecclesiasticae, 1577, Book I and Book II a translation with
commentary and analysis was in the final stages of
completion for publication.

This work is being given in memory of Evelyn Carol Voelker
to all persons who are interested in liturgical history
and church architecture.
